WR/TE Dilemma

Postby danicolorado » Wed Sep 19, 2012 6:57 pm

Here are my players:
Dez Bryant against TB
Brandon Lafell against NYG
Danny Amendola against CHI
Denarious Moore against PIT
Andrew Hawkins against WAS
Dennis Pitta against NE
Rob Gronkowski against BAL

I have slots for:
WR: 2
TE: 1
WR/TE: 1

Despite the low production from Dez, he's a must start for me as the TB D gave up 500+ yards last week and the Gronk always starts, so I have 2 open spots for 1 WR and 1 TE or 2 WR. I am nixing Denarious because he is still a little banged up and against a good PIT secondary.

So we are down to Amendola, Lafell, Hawkins, and Pitta.

I have reservations about Amendola because he's playing against a good CHI D and you can bet that they will focus on covering him. I like Lafell because he's getting a lot of looks and against a banged up NYG secondary. I also like Hawkins because he's going against a WAS secondary that gives up the third most passing yards in the league. And I like Pitta because he's leading all TEs in the NFL with 24 targets.

I'm leading towards Lafell and Pitta, but could use more opinions/thoughts?

Put some deep thought into my dilemma and I will return the favor. Thanks!

Go with Bryant and LaFell in the WRs spots, Gronk in the TE, and your flex is tough. Either Pitta, Hawkins, or Amendola. In the order.
