Who to offer for Mendy?

I'm really hurting at RB. This is the 3rd year of the dynasty league. Some of my initial moves at RB when the OD started haven't turned out. So the worst case scenario happened this year with Fred Jackson going down and having no one behind him. A little unfortunate this past weekend and my team really played over it's head with huge games from Amendola, Bowe and Celek. So I missed out on Brown and Richardson off the WW this week. I have been working the league hard for a RB but no one seems really interested in making a deal with me. The one owner who is willing to talk has Mendenhall. But he wouldn't make the initial offer and wants me to do so. Who would you offer for Mendenhall in a 12 team dynasty keeper PPR league? My team is 1-1 on the season with the 3rd most points scored. Blount was just dropped on WW run so I can pick him up on Friday is it worth the shot maybe he gets moved or Martin gets dinged up?

I woudn't waste time on Mendy...I would rather have Quizz right now..even know they both stink...I don't understand all the hype with Mendy...He stunk before he was even injured. Just my opinion.

Thanks for the help on mine. from the articles ive read the expect mendenhall to be back week 5. And with Dwyer and Redman not doing much damage on e ground he could be in line to take back his bulk of the carries. But he is a risk. If he will take DEZ for Mendy id see if he will jump on that. Last year Mendenhall was going in the first round so his upside is huge... I never been in a dynasty league and dont know strategy nor how they work.

If you really want Mendy who I had last year and wasn't a fan of I would try to see if he would bite on Titus Young. That is really the only person that someone might take from your bench. He has started slow but everyone thought he would be a decent player this year. The other person that I might try would be Amendola. However, in that case I think you are giving up too much. I would probably try to get someone better than Mendenhall though. Good luck

Just got a response from another owner. He is willing to move a RB and is open to discussing Darren McFadden, DeMarco Murray and Chris Johnson. Would you try to buy low on Chris Johnson or go for the bigger name of McFadden or go for the middle ground on Murray? I think I rank them in that order but depending on price might change my view point.

I wouldn't pay too much for Mendy. You only have 1 WR on your bench (T.Young) and you can't afford to trade him away with oft-injured wideouts Jackson and Amendola in your lineup. You have two TE's and use one for bait, though I like both in a dynasty league. You could offer D.Allen for Mendenhall if you are really interested in Mendy.
