10 Team QB Flex 1PPR - Week 3
QB: M. Stafford, J. Flacco RB: C. Johnson, D. Murray, D. Sproles, CJ Spiller, M. Leshoure WR: J. Jones, E. Decker, A. Brown, P. Garcon, B. Lafell TE: J. Finley, M. Bennett K: D. Akers DEF: Ravens
I'd probably start Flacco over Sproles. Pretty much if you can start a QB at the flex you should, just my opinion. Sproles does see a lot of catches, but even so, I don't see him getting enough to overcome what Flacco can put up in a cushy match up.
I have thought about it certainly. Unfortunately, I did just that in week 2 and I got burned. I knew Flacco had a tough match-up, but figured on average he should outscore Sproles. I just don't have the faith in Flacco after that game. Or should I say faith in who he is throwing the ball to. Boldin can't get open and Rice will probably control the offense IMO. Thoughts?

You could go with Sproles, I think it's close, but I think on average Flacco should out score Sproles week to week. You're right about his options not being great, but I think Pitta and Boldin have been solid, Torey has no-showed so far though, and Rice is a solid option. The Eagles are a really tough match up and they made him extremely uncomfortable. Sproles hasn't gotten too many carries but seems to be really involved in the passing game, I guess you could go with Sproles and hope that he either breaks one for a TD or that the Chiefs can pull ahead and make the Saints throw.. I think the first option is more likely.
K. That's how I think most of the time. Trying to fight my gut vs statistics.

On a side note, the Pats have a pretty decent pass rush, and their secondary has improved as well. Might actually have changed my mind, I just have a hard time picking anything over a decent QB in this format.
What do you think about Dalton vs Washington? He seems like a decent/underrated play with everyone ranking AJ Green in the top 5 and going against that banged up Washington Defense.
