Who to start?! *WHIR*

Postby koruptified » Thu Sep 20, 2012 11:09 am

I'm loaded at running back, so I've been starting one at my Flex every week. Right now I plan to start CJ Spiller vs Cle and MOJO vs Indy. The following are my possible flex RB options... please give input and explain WHY you made the choice you made! Thanks!

Andre Brown vs CAR
Chris Johnson vs DET
Pierre Thomas vs KC
Alfred Morris vs CIN
Ryan Matthews vs ATL
Kevin Smith vs TEN

I think that about does it.

At this point, I'd lean toward Matthews, he should be back and healthy after 2 weeks off. Keep an eye on the injury report, though. Thanks for the help on mine

I like Mathews, but I'm still unsure how he'll do because he's just now coming back from the injury and I'm not sure how he'll do.

Anyone else?

Mathews would normally be my top choice, because his injury wasn't something that needs to ease back in. But, I could be convinced to put Brown in because Mathews won't be in game shape.

I'd say flip a coin, but Brown might have the lions share of the carries.

I was leaning toward Brown because he's going to be the Giants starting back and they will be leaning on him a little more with two of the top three NYG receivers being out.

I would go with Andre Brown this week

I want to see mathews play before I risk starting him, and with Nicks out the giants could be leaning on the run game, which means brown.

Thanks for the help on mine. If Matthews practices all week and is active, I'd roll with him. He could have played last week, and they kept him inactive because they don't want to limit him in his first start back. Otherwise, I think you have to give Chris Johnson one more go. I'm sure you drafted him high, and the match-up isn't bad; the Lions have been giving up 112 yrds/gm.
From all preseason media reports, Jay Cutler is going straight to Canton.
