Rodgers Trade

Postby Five4Five » Thu Sep 20, 2012 4:32 pm

Someone in my league offered me Vick & Lynch for Rodgers. I need a RB since Fred Jackson is out, but it's still not enough for me to give up Rodgers. So I was thinking about counter offering Rodgers for Vick and Arian Foster, or Rodgers and Jennings for Vick, Foster, and Roddy White. Are either of these worth offering? 10-team standard league. Here is my roster and the other guys roster.

My Lineup:
QB - Aaron Rodgers
RB - Frank Gore
RB - Kevin Smith
WR - Greg Jennings
WR - Steve Johnson
TE - Brent Celek
Flex - Michael Crabtree
K - Stephen Gostkowski
DST - 49ers

My Bench: Alex Smith, Fred Jackson, Aaron Hernandez, Desean Jackson, Darrius Heyward-Bey, James Jones, Justin Blackmon

His Lineup:
QB - Michael Vick
RB - Arian Foster
RB - Marshawn Lynch
WR - Roddy White
WR - Antonio Brown
TE - Jason Witten
Flex - Jonathon Stewart
K - Matt Prater
DST - Falcons

His Bench: Josh Freeman, Ben Tate, Jahvid Best, Felix Jones, Denarius Moore, Kenny Britt, Laurent Robinson

I do not see the owner accepting either of those trades. I would not target Vick because you have a weak QB2. Look for a cheaper option such as Jamaal Charles.

Theres no way he's gonna give up Foster. I'd see if he would go for something like Rodgers and Kevin Smith for Vick, Lynch, and Roddy White. You would improve at RB and Flex but downgrade at QB, and if Vick gets hurt you'd be kinda screwed. Only try if you're comfortable taking that risk.
