I'm being offered Chris Johnson for Stevan Ridley. Should I go for it? Standard scoring league, no ppr.

I don't believe in Chris Johnson much at this point especially not enough to trade away a productive back for him. Stay with Ridley, who seems to be getting all the carries for the Pats.

You may regret it down the road, but at this point, I just can't trust CJ4Y. At the very least you'll get someone you can feel confident in starting week in and out, and not burning a hole on the bench.
