Tate, Britt, Dwyer, Ogletree at Flex

Postby jjgarciadallas » Thu Sep 20, 2012 6:27 pm

Hey guys, who should I start at the RB/WR flex? I'm leaning towards Ben Tate. Denver has a great run defense, but I read that Tate should get a decent amount of carries to keep Foster extra fresh against the Denver run defense.

12-Team Standard, Non-PPR
Starters:
QB Romo
RB Foster
RB Murray
RB/WR ?????
WR Decker
WR Amendola
TE Graham

Bench
RB Tate
RB Dwyer
RB David Wilson
WR Britt
WR Ogletree
WR Titus Young

Looking at your options, I think Tate is your best bet. You'll guarantee yourself almost all the run TDs and yards that the Texans put up with also having Foster.

Yeah. Tate is the safest play here easily. All the others have in injury problems, consistency problems or just sucking problems. Tate should pick up at least a useable #of pts from his yrds and recs. But Tate also has a high likelihood to steal some goal line carries.

I'd go Tate as well

Slightly biased as a closet-Texans fan (I'm a Niners fan living in Houston, they are on every week) I say go with Tate. His carries go upped this past week vs Jacksonville and they both dominated. I know Denver isn't Jacksonville, but the Texans are a running football team. Tate is your go to guy.
