It's tough to ever justify sitting Brady but I like Romo this week based on the matchup. BAL has the potential to stifle the NE offense (at times) and I think Romo should bounce back strong after last week.
I agree with downgrading at QB to get an upgrade somewhere else. It's really a coin flip. I would probably go with Brady, but I am of the school of never bench your studs.
Sorry diverge from popular opinion, but Brady. First of all, start your studs. Second, Brady will be throwing and will hit his stride. The ravens D is good but old. They will pass a lot as will the ravens. Start Brady.
second, i dont believe in "start your studs"... not when you have excellent alternatives and your studs are not guaranteed to produce! I don't fear that Brady won't produce, but I just think the chances of Romo out producing Brady are better than vice-versa. It wouldn't surprise me to see Brady beat the Ravens with 300 yards passing and a couple of TDs, but given his current situation, even money would put me on Romo's side. No Aaron Hernandez and a weird situation with Wes Welker along with the matchup just pushes Brady down a bit below Romo this week IMO.
10 team 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF P Manning, RG3 A Foster, CJ Spiller, B Tate, V Ballard, D Williams D Thomas, J Nelson, Mike Wallace, Cecil Shorts, Danario Alexander, D Heyward-Bey J WItten Janikowski 49ers
PPR, I would play Martin. I think Morris only has 1 catch in 2 games. And, I just have a feeling that Morris may start to lose some of those touches this week. CIN was horrible against pass catching backs last week. I think Royster/Helu get some more touches. I'd play Martin.
For the awefully tough QB question. Yikes. I'm not sure. I would probably play Brady, simply because you are already up 48-0. He doesn't turn the ball over. He's going to get at least 15 points, minimum.
Yes, Romo has more upside. But, he's disappointed us before, no? you've got a big lead. You have a stud that has an extremely high floor. I hate Josh McDaniels. I think the guy is a complete arrogant, fill in the blank. So, I am nervous about all Patriots. But, I also think maybe they just aren't showing their colors yet, knowing that this is a huge game. I think they want this game bad! And, if they win, they are going to have to score at least 24+. That should mean solid day for Brady.
