Interesting Trades to consider, WHIR

Postby chargergdm » Fri Sep 21, 2012 12:40 am

I've been sent a couple trades that are worth considering. 10 team standard league.

My Roster:
QB: Drew Brees
RB: Benjarvus Green-Ellis
RB: Ryan Mathews
RB/WR: Michael Bush (depending on Forte's status this week)
WR: Dwayne Bowe
WR: Larry Fitzgerald
TE: Dennis Pitta
DEF: Seahawks
K: Janikowski

RB: Shonn Greene
RB: Mikel Leshoure
RB: Rashard Mendenhall
WR: Hakeem Nicks
WR: Eric Decker
WR: Nate Washington
TE: Aaron Hernandez

Trade 1: Send Shonn Greene and Fitzgerald for Jamaal Charles

His Roster: Aaron Rodgers, Adrian Peterson, Jamaal Charles, Darren Sproles, Brandon Marshall, Jordy Nelson, Jared Cook, Bears D/ST, David Akers.

Bench: Tony Gonzales, Matt Ryan, Santonio Holmes, Lance Moore, Lions DST, LeGarrette Blount, Lawrence Tynes

Trade 2: Send Shonn Greene for Fred Jackson and Robert Meachem

His Roster: Matt Stafford, Stevan Ridley, Andrew Brown, Torrey Smith, Roddy White, Vincent Jackson, Brandon Pettigrew, Texans DST, Matt Prater. Bench: Steven Jackson, Fred Jackson, Robert Meachem, Titus Young, Jay Cutler, Jacob Tamme, Randall Cobb

What do you guys think? I'm leaning more to the Charles trade, but I may try to get WR as well.

Will help in return. Thanks!

Trade 1: I'd do it, though I think you can get a bit more since Charles' value is low right now (I expect it to skyrocket after this weekend).

Trade 2: Absolutely do it. Meachem's a solid sleeper and FJax can be a decent flex start when he's back.

If you can package Greene+Fitz for any decent/consistent WR2, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Perhaps the Reggie Wayne owner is hurting at RB?

*Disclaimer: I think Shonn Greene is average at best. IMO, the Jets are really bad and will have more performances like week two as opposed to week one.
