Forte out, not great options

Postby Red Winger » Fri Sep 21, 2012 12:52 pm

Standard ESPN Scoring

Here are my options to start as Forte's replacement:
Ben Tate at Denver (this would seem to be the obvious, but that Denver D is stout against the run)
Jaquizz Rodgers at SD (Turner gets a DUI charge)
Pierre Thomas vs KC ( like Tate, huge boom or bust potential)
Lamar Miller vs NYJ (nice relief showing last week, but tough D-line of the Jets, plus opportunity, gives pause)

Help! WHIR with a link ;-D

Yeah, I suppose Tate is the kinda obvious one, but I have a sneaky suspicion Thomas could have a big game. Kansas City is just not very good.

safest option is Tate
Dont think there will be impact of Turner's dui yet so no on Rodgers
Thomas is hit or miss like you said
Not enough of a chance for Miller to see oppurtunities

I'd go Rogers or Tate, leaning towards Tate

I would actually go with Thomas...He is actually a pretty good runner and the "main" ball carrier in NO when it comes to getting actual rushing yards (Sproles seems to be out there only to catch passes). Kansas City's defence is absolutely terrible and so I can see Thomas having a pretty nice game.

help with mine?
