Larry Fitzgerald for D. Martin

Postby nobodeuno » Mon Sep 24, 2012 3:50 pm

I was proposed this trade and am having trouble deciding whether to accept or not? I have found myself starting BGE more than D. Martin but he would be good to have for a by week. I should be 3-0 and the trade is with one of the other teams that is also 3-0...D. Martin has faced some relatively tough def. so far so trying to cut him some slack and hoping he works into it but given Fitz's performance Sunday and D. Martin not looking so great I'm leaning towards accepting it. Any opinions. 3WR/2RB - PPR Keeper league.

Aaron Rodgers
Jordy Nelson
Dwayne Bowe
Randy Moss
Brandon Tate
Stephen Hill
DeMarco Murray
BenJarvus Green-Ellis
Shonn Greene
DeAngelo Williams
Jimmy Graham
Doug Martin
Jay Cutler

Thanks in advance

You have weaknesses at WR and RB on your roster so an upgrade is in order to help one, if not both, positions. But in order to do that you will have to take a player from one position to raise the value of the other position. This trade does just that. Fitz will have weeks like yesterday, and unfortunately will have weeks to give you fits (no pun intended). With this being a PPR league I would lean towards taking this trade and looking to upgrade your RB depth with additional trades.

I'd take this deal in a heart beat. You know what you get with Fitz, even last year with the qb play he still had great numbers. Martin hasn't done anything yet and who knows if he'll play like a top RB, or never live up to his potential. I'd take Fitz and walk away smiling.

Ok so the guy reneged on the trade after Fitz had a good week. So I have someone else offering me a trade and he said to let him know what he needs in order to get D. Martin. I'm hesitant to trade him at this point but I really need to fill a spot for WR. I also picked up a few others. Do you have any suggestions on a trade...Stevie Johnson is interesting but I'd be concerned he's get hurt again??

My Team
Aaron Rodgers
Jordy Nelson
Dwayne Bowe

Doug Martin
BenJarvus Green-Ellis
