RGIII for Trent Richardson straight up?

I'm considering offering someone RGIII for Richardson. I made the mistake of drafting Chris Johnson, and he really thinned out my RBs. I recently traded him for Ryan Williams and Michael Crabtree ( I just had to get rid of him... he plagued one of my other teams last year). I'm 1-2 and thinking of continuing the wheeling and dealing. RGIII has been great, but I feel like by obtaining another decent RB with a huge upside will help me out a lot more than just RG3 pounding it out each week. I have Vick and there are still a few decent free agent QBs out there right now I can pick up as a backup if Vick can't turn it around. My team is pretty weak now with some long term potential in Powell and Ryan Williams.

Obviously there are better RBs out there, but the way the rosters are looking this is the only top 10 back I would be able to pull a trade off for. Other teams are relying on their star RBs too heavily, this team is deep with RBs with Lynch as RB1.

I could also consider trading RGIII for Richardson and an additional midgrade WR... I just want to see what people think of the straight up trade first.

I would say go for it. If you have Vick on your bench then the production drop off there shouldn't be as significant as the addition of Trent Richardson. I have him on my team (I also have CJ0K) and he has since become my RB1. He has great potential. I think that if you can get a WR bump you should try because that would make it a more fair trade.

I've already picked up Ponder, preparing to move forward. This is all a big gamble but my team's production has dropped off so much over the past 2 weeks I need to make big changes. Trading CJ was one, and as much as I'd like RGIII to win it all for me he can't.

Now that Beanie Wells is out until late Nov, I feel great about getting Ryan Williams and Crabtree for CJ2k.

It doesn't look like the RGIII- RIchardson trade will go thru. Owner doesn't want to part with him. Thanks for the help anyway.
