Should I considering Benching Vick vs the Giants in favor of any of these guys on the WW?

I would stick with Vick this week over the other 4 this week as none of the other 4 have a favorable enough matchup to warrant starting over Vick.

I don't like Vick at all. Let me get that out of the way. The only guy on the list I would consider benching him for though is Red Dalton. The tough thing is the rushing potential of Vick but I don't think it is worth the potential 5 picks he could throw. I'd start Dalton.

Vicks inconsistency would scare me so my decision would reflect what I am looking for from the position this week. Fitzpatrick should be a very solid play this week and I would make the decision between the 2 depending on what I'm looking for. High upside (Vick) or week 4 consistency (Fitz). Ponder is certainly an interesting play vs. DET who will probably allow a solid game. Especially with his mobility and Simpson coming back. Locker looks good but I'm not a fan of the matchup for a young QB. I'd pass on Dalton this week.

For me it's Vick or Fitz.

Thanks for the help earlier. I don't really like Vick either (I feel he's going to break) and would go Dalton but Ponder is starting to look nice now as well since he's been finding Rudolph and Simpson is back.

Vick has the best matchup this week, NYG have the 22nd ranked pass defense.

As long as the pass rush doesn't break him (literally) I like Vick over any of those.

If Dalton had a better matchup I'd look at him.

my roommate is considering benching Vick in favor of Dalton, I am trying to talk him out of it too. Vick could have another miserable evening thanks to the Giants pass rush, but he also has too much potential to put up 25+ if he can get a little time. Dalton is likely going to put up a pedestrian 200-250 yards and a td this week, imo. I don't exactly expect a shootout in Jacksonville.
