Return to Draft, Trade, & Waiver Questions

My draft did not go as planned this year in my 12 team league and I have Vick as my QB with no backup. I'm now looking to pick someone up off my WW and am a bit torn. My options include:
Christian Ponder: He seems to be the hot name after a solid performance against SF and because he's facing Detroit this week. That said, he's still listed very low on all weekly rankings.
Carson Palmer: He's put up 20+ points every week and will now play a mediocre Denver team. But he's still Carson Palmer.
Jake Locker: I am hesitant to put too much stock into one big week.
Ryan Fitzpatrick: I'm still hesitant about Fitzpatrick as well.
Also, would you start any of these guys over Vick this week against the Giants?
Thanks. Leave a link and I'll gladly help in return.
When in doubt, punt!

I'd go with Ponder. He's got good matchups the next 3 weeks.
Palmer also has a good matchup this week.

I stopped reading once I saw Ponder's name b/c I'm surprised he's still on WW in a 12 team league.
He's def the best option, especially with Jerome Simpson coming back this week.
He's got good matchups the next 3 weeks
Agreed.
Help with mine?

Well to me this is a make or break week for Vick. There are already rumblings in Philly that Reid is coaching for his job, Vick is playing for his starting job and there whole offense needs to get on track. I think that all those qb's will be there next week, but with bye weeks coming up I may grab one now. I think Palmer will keep putting up good numbers and with Moore back. And DMC more of a threat every week he will keep putting up numbers. Good luck.

Ponder - but am I insane to suggest Vicks backup? He looked great in preseason and would walk into a great offense...that's your contingency IMO.

I had the same dilemma and went with Palmer over Ponder.
