Hi, I'm tying to trade to solidify my wr position. I was offered Brandon Lloyd for Donald Brown, but I feel my rb depth would suffer without him. Do you I would be better off without this trade or do you think it's worth it? If possible, do you see anything else I should offer him instead of Donald Brown? I feel he's lacking in rb's.
I'm in a standard scoring league 1 qb, 2 wr's, 2 rb's, 1wr/rb, 1 te, 1 kicker, 1 defense. My roster is below: QB: Matthew Stafford, Alex Smith WR: AJ Green, Pierre Garcon, Donnie Avery, Stephen Hill, Justin Blackmon RB: DeMarco Murray, Willis McGahee, Donald Brown, Shonn Greene, Beanie Wells TE: Vernon Davis, Greg Olson
His roster: QB: RGIII, Cam Newton, Russell WIlson WR: Mike Wallace, Jeremy Maclin, Brandon Lloyd, Malcolm Floyd, Denarius Moore, Randy Moss, Jacoby Jones RB: Michael Turner, Alfred Morris TE: Brandon Pettigrew, Heath Miller
I think it is a pretty good trade for you. You will then have a real stout WR core, use one as a flex. Donald Brown has not done much this year. How many teams in your league? You will have to make a move with RB. If you have 10-12 team league, I'm sure you can puck up a decent RB. If not, then with the depth you have at WR, you can trade Blackmon or Avery along with Wells for a 20-25th rank RB.
It would but I don't think Brown is good enough to warrant stopping this trade. Lloyd would slide in and start for you from day 1. Go for it.
