Picking up Wide-outs depending on opposing QB

Postby gymnst88 » Wed Sep 26, 2012 3:24 pm

I've had AJ Green since the beginning of the season. My opponent this week is playing Andy Dalton as his QB. Is it worth it to pick up another Cincinnati receiver like Armon Binns so that I would have more probability of picking up those extra receiver points?

Honestly, I don't think it is worth the effort. The idea make sense if you had the option of picking up a top receiver to pair against a QB, but all of those guys are on rosters and aren't out on waivers.

I would worry about putting up the roster that will get you the most points. If getting Binns is an upgrade on one of your current WR's, do it. If he isn't, don't.

This is one of the hardest concepts to accept, but in fantasy your never playing against anyone other than yourself. You need to field the team you think will get the most points regardless of who the other guy has.
