got screwed on waiver to get value trade? help please!

I'm in a keeper league roster starts 1qb 2rb 3wr 1te 1flex te/rb/wr def and kicker non ppr:

I put in waiver for ponder qb (min) guy took it before me and is now offering me this trade:
he wants to give me; ponder, mike williams wr (tb), and stevan ridley rb (Ne)
for phillip rivers, and reggie bush rb (mia)???

i also have kyle rudolph and jerome simpson on my roster from (min)

i think this is a close to fair trade for the most part but i'm afraid of rivers bouncing back after a rough week last week and bush being great when he is healthy...i would love to have ponder to triple me up with the other two on my roster but it's an iffy situation for me any opinions would be greatly appreciated and will help in return! thanks in advance!

Rivers is too talented to stay down. I wouldn't do it.

i should also add that i am hurting at wr i have my three starters brandon marshall , vincent jackson, and reggie wayne (bye this week) after that i have a couple no namers dominek hixon and brian quick (no value and no points) and other than that all i have is jerome simpson and randy moss...other than that i have nothing at wr and i need 3 to start on roster...rb i'm good but not great...i have lesean mccoy, ahmad bradshaw, and of course bush...on bench all i have is hightower (out for who knows how long) kevin smith (cold since leshour is back), kenall hunter and daryl richardson....soo i have great starters but no good quality replacements for the bye weeks
