Evening folks. Im starting to feel concerned as a Pitta owner (Hernandez out), as he has put up a goose egg this week. That being said, do you think I can swing a trade and pick up Martellus Bennett? Guys I would be willing to offer up are D.Moore, C. Palmer, R. Bush, and D. Amendola.
My thought is offer both Amendola and Moore for Bennett, as I have decent starting WRs (Cruz/Jennings/Wayne). If he takes the offer I will also be solid at TE, as soon as Hernandez returns from injury. I'd then have 3 good options at TE, and with a WR to spare finding a good flex player shouldn't be hard.
Any thoughts on this? Am I offering too much, too little? Any thoughts on the matter would be greatly appreciated, WHIR as always.
QB - RGIII WR - R. Wayne, A.J. Green, Antonio Brown, L. Moore RB - M. Forte, Rashad Jennings, D. Murray, R. Mendenhall, J. Dwyer TE - J. Witten, A. Gates Flex - T. Richardson K - R. Gould DEF - Bears
If the guy has no other TE I doubt he accepts. You may have to throw pitta in. try Pitta and Amendola for Bennett. Get Bennett... He has been waiting for this chance to shine for years in Dallas and finally he got it and he will not pass it by. Pitta is good but still fourth in pecking order to Smith, Boldin and Rice when it comes to targets.
1) yes it is a PPR league ( check out the sig), thats why I immediately thought Amendola. If I offer Palmer, QBs I could pick up are Cutler, Weeden, Cassel, Sanchez, and Bradford
2) His other TE is Witten. He has been underperforming so far this season, but I think he will be holding onto him in the hopes that a good game comes. I wouldn't mind putting Pitta in their either, but with last nights performance I wonder if he will bite.
