Marshall or AP?? WHIR 100%

Postby ilovedapats » Thu Sep 27, 2012 11:38 pm

This is a PPR league with 12 teams and is deep. we play 2RB, 3WR and a WR/RB flex.
My RB's/WR's looks like this...

RB's: BGE, Forte and Bush, Alfred Morris.
Wr's: Megatron, B. Marshall, D Jax, Antonio Brown, Lance Moore.

I have been offered AP for Brandon Marshall.
Thoughts on AP thus far and going forward???
And should I make the trade???

I will help in return! just be sure to leave a link. thanks!

AP has looked really good for what he's been through with his knee. Looking at Minnesota's schedule, he only faces 2 really good defenses in the first 10 weeks and that would be Arizona week 7 and Seattle week 9. I say you do the trade because Peterson's looked good and the Bears passing game looks like it might suffer with Cutler always taking heat. RB's are scarce, man. Grab em while you can.

Another way to look at it is you're gonna be screwed week 6 when Chicago has a bye (Forte, Bush, Marshall) Peterson will help you overcome some bye week issues and be a good addition to a solid team ;-D

I would do the trade betting on AP to only get better throughout the year.

Help with mine?

Marshall is a beast but AP is better and you have a lot of strength at WR while RB is a little scarce. Definitely do this trade.

Agree with the others...Marshall is good but I'd take AP any day, thinking he will only get better as we move farther along.

everyone seems to like the trade... something to consider.
CHI will throw the ball regardless of Cutler's interceptions - his sucking doesn't affect Marshall that much & may make him throw to HIM even more (trust).
CHI faces ARZ, GB & DET those last weeks. Will that mean lots of passing in your playoffs? week 16 AP faces the Texans...

I think it's a pretty even trade. I worry about injury with AP & stupid/crazy with BM.

mine:

my team (we play Q, R, W, 3 flex, TE, K, Def - 5 bench slots)
Q: Eli & Cutler
W: Rdy White, A. Jeffrey, D. Bess, R. Meachum, J. Nelson,
R: I. Redman, M. Leshoure, B. Powell, C. Johnson (sux)
T: V Davis
K: Gould
D: NYG

thanks for help with mine. i dont think i would make the trade in this case. in a PPR, i think Marshall will be fairly even (assuming 1PPR and not .5PPR). not to mention that if you make the playoffs, the bears play some good offenses and will throw a lot. i think fantasy football is often won with garbage time scoring...

Regardless of the players involved take the RB......

Look at the waiver wire in your league....how many Rb's a viable startes......guessing 0......how many WR can get you 8-10 points on yardage, but the PPR component....

TAKE AP quick before he wakes up...

Besides Cutler is a punk and no way do i want to have to rely on any Bear, in my starting lineup.

i would go for it. having that kind of depth at RB would be great, especially with Forte's ankle. plus, we know AP can keep this up for the entire year.
