Need a DST for this week, which would you choose. Not exactly standard scoring, 1 for INT/Fumble Rec/Sack/Tackle for Loss. Points for both points allowed and yardage allowed. and then return yards are 50/1 pt. the points for points allowed and yardage are as follows:
points allowed:
0 - 6 pts
1-6 - 5 pts
7-13 - 4 pts
14-20 - 3 pts
21-27- 2 pts
28-34 - 0 pts
35+ - -2 pts
yardage allowed:
negative yardage - 10 pts
0-99 - 6 pts
100-199 - 4 pts
200-299 - 2 pts
300-399 - 0 pts
400-499 - -2 pts
500+ - -4 pts
with this, if you can manage to find a team that keeps opponents under 300 yards and 20 points its a huge advantage, especially with teams putting up massive yardage numbers these days. Options for this week, and further if you'd take them for more then this week are:
ATL @ WAS (vs. OAK, BYE)
StL vs. ARI (@ MIA, vs. GB)
CIN vs. MIA (@ CLE, vs. PIT)
MIA @ CIN (vs. STL, BYE)
wire is pretty picked over, and most teams in the league are carrying two DST's so streaming DST's is a little more challenging. I think St. Louis is interesting, Kolb can turn the ball over and the O Line looks shaky. I currently have Atlanta, but with the yardage and points scoring the way its is, Washington scares me a little as they can put up yardage and points, though if the Falcons get up, their Defense becomes much better. Cincy can rush the passer, and Tannehill, like most rookies, turns the ball over, but the secondary is a bit dinged up. I don't know if I trust Miami's defense at this point, and with the scoring I think this is the worst of the 4 listed, though still better then many of the other options available on the wire.
Cliff notes: Leaning towards keeping ATL, but RG3 and WAS scare me a little with the scoring system. StL is interesting as I think the game will be low scoring and the Cards O line is shaky. Cincy meh, and MIA, meh.
Opinions???
