QB question: P. Manning or J. Flacco?

Postby JRThon » Thu Oct 04, 2012 1:50 am

Hey guys

Quick week 5 question regarding QBs:

P. Manning vs. NE
or
J. Flacco vs. KC

Both of them have put up great numbers and are both facing poor passing defences..

Any thoughts? WTHIR (will try and help in return) ;-)

Cheers

What a great "problem" to have. These guys are going to both rock this week. I have Peyton as my QB and Torrey Smith as one of my WRs so I'm hoping to take advantage of both matchups. Peyton looks to remain in a shootout with NE the whole way through so he'll rack up points no doubt. Flacco will also score quite a bit, but once that game turns into a blowout (which it will, knowing KC) he may turn into the Rice-feeder to run down the clock. You are pretty much in a win-win with these two guys. My gut says go with Peyton, but that may just be owner-bias...

Hehe yeah, was the reason I formulated the headline as "question" and not "problem" ;-)

Thank you for your view, bud. I might be leaning that way aswell.. Manning seems solid this season.. Then again: I would love for Flacco to shred the entire season, not just the first four-five games.. :-)

I would probably have to go with Manning even though I think they NE will put more pressure on, he seems to be on an up swing. With that being said both are pretty good options and probably can't go wrong with either one :)

Leaning towards Peyton as well, can you say shoot out. Plus Ray Rice to kill the clock. . .Nice problem. As an aside, Cam and Matty Ice, loved my draft. . .

Tough, but gotta go with Manning. You know hes pumped about facing Brady again. I smell a shootout.
