ESPN Standard scoring league, need some insights

First off I would like to say hello and that this looks to be a great board for fantasy info, so I hope to stay around and learn.

Ok so some back story on my team, and why I ask for some thoughts on my roster. I'm in a 10 team league with a 13 week regular season. I got stuck with 9th pick in the draft, and through a trade and some shuffles, this is my current lineup for this week;

QB - Andy Dalton
RB1 - Marshawn Lynch
RB2 - Law Firm
WR1 - Victor Cruz
WR2 - Andre Johnson
TE - Vernon Davis
FLEX1 - Eric Decker
FLEX2 - Reggie Wayne
D S/T - Seahawks
K - Justin Tucker
BE - Matthew Stafford(BYE). I usually start him but did have Dalton in one time.
BE - Andrew Luck
BE - Steven Jackson
BE - Mikel Leshoure(BYE)
BE - Brian Hartline
BE - Brent Celek
BE - Jonathan Stewart

My team has gone 1-3 so far, but is 2nd in the league in points scored at 397 (1st in scoring has 398). I don't know if this is just bad luck, bad management, or just a bad team. I don't think it's a bad team as the point production says otherwise. So, how does my roster look, and what moves should I make this week? I can provide more info if needed, just looking for some answers.

I think you've got a solid team. You're putting up a lot of points and the wins will start to come. I would keep everything as is for now. In a normal (non-bye) week, you've got a great roster.

Won my last matchup to improve to 2-3, and also became #1 in scoring at 509 points. I do have 500 points against, though (9th out of 10). Only a small change with a favorabel trade. I got Jackie Battle for my kicker, Tucker. Got Hanson on the wavier wire to fill the void. Still looking to trade for an RB2, I think Andre Johnson will be able to pull one in even though he's started slow so far. I'm just not sure he will produce like he has been.

Been trying to trade Dalton, but no one sees much value in him. Also gonna go the rental route on defense this week and pick u the Rams.

Ok, first off I'd like to be in your league, because I've never in any league EVER heard of someone willing to trade FOR a kicker. That guy needs to be on here asking questions instead of you!

Second, and more serious, you do have a really solid team. I like either Stafford or Dalton as your main QB, so maybe try and see if there is interest in Stafford for a combo RB and WR or something along those lines? Could even see if someone has a man crush on Luck, and he's been hot lately too.

Haha I know, I had to jump on that trade, nice cheap pickup, even though it didn't exactly addressed what I wanted. I like Luck as a backup, if someone is interested I'll deal but I'm not gonna trade him myself.

My game got off to a great start tonight. The other guy had Mendenhall, Antonio Brown, and the Steelers defense tonight and only got 7 points off of them combined. Feeling better about my chances of hitting 3-3 after this week.

Quick update; team is now 3-3, tied for second in my division, and only 1 game behind. That and my team is far and away the league leader in scoring with 599 points (99.8 ppg). The next closest is at 95.2 ppg.

Now 4-4, and things are starting to come together. I'm 3-1 in my last 4 games, am 1st in PPG, 5th in PAG, and 2nd in points differential. I see no reason to change much of anything going down the stretch, satisfied with my group. Currently;

Update; Guy had Bowe and Charles in last night, was projected to get 25 points off of them but only got 10. That and he lost Sproles to injury. Fortuitous start.

Well his hopes of an undefeated season got shot down in flames! 117-65 right now, he's out of players and I still have Celek tonight. He had a lot of under performers and a big injury to Sproles, kinda crippled him. Big win for me, finally above .500 heading into my bye and my team is rolling right now. Happy!

Won a razor thin game thanks to Cruz last night, 97-96 over another 5-4 team. Now I'm sitting at 6-4 and waiting to see how Cam Newton does tonight. If he scores less than 24 points, I'll have the lead in my division thanks to tiebreakers. Nice turnaround after the start to this season!
