This league gives 1 point per 10 yards on return yardage which is why Thigpen is in the mix at all. So far in this league Thigpen has racked up 54.10 pts vs. Jackie Battle's 48.50 (So you don't have to look it up. Miami is playing Cincinnati and San Diego is playing New Orleans).

I also play in a return league. Thigpen is assured of the return job. Battle may or may not carry the load this week. Too risky. Go with Thigpen.
