Strategy: Playing a D/ST that's facing your QB?

Postby LosAngelesChargers » Thu Oct 04, 2012 9:24 pm

It seems counterintuitive to play a D/ST against your own QB. Obviously, as your QB scores, the D loses points. INT's are a wash. Am I right to think that I should play a lesser D this week to avoid this situation?

Namely, I have Cam and the Seahawks D/St. I was thinking about picking up the Dolphins, even though I'm concerned Dalton might beat up their weak secondary. Complicating things, I'll have to drop either Seahawks D or one of my WR/RB's to pull it off.

Thoughts? Thanks.
I just hope my fantasy team is better than the Chargers this year.

it would help if you could post your available defenses. Minn should do goood, i picked them up in my league. Also carolina sacked matt ryan like 7 times. so they might be a good sleeper pick. SEA is good but there are a different team on the road and they are traveling from west to east coast i have no faith in them this week. just a personal opinion.

Min is owned. How about either Cinci, Miami, or Carolina?
