Trade for Aaron Rodgers? WHIR

I have been proposed this trade;

My Cam Newton + Brandon Marshall for Aaron Rodgers.

I am pretty sure I could get a 'reaonable' WR in return for one of my RBs if I needed to, but I think that with Rodgers in my lineup I might be okay to roll with the guys I have. Not that it means much necessarily, but the yahoo 'evaluate trade' feature basically yells at me for even hesitating on this one... what does everyone else think?

I agree with the Yahoo evaluate trade feature.

I think he gets far too much in this trade, IMO Rodgers would be worth more like Newton + Johnson/Mendenhall.

I don't think you do this. You're giving up an arguably top 7 or 8 QB and a top 5 receiver for a possible #1 QB. I generally say that you want to walk away from trade with the best player but in this one, I don't think there is enough value on the other side to give up those 2 pieces. Good luck!

I agree. typically the goal is to get the best player in the deal... but in this case, I just don't like what you're giving up for him.

I am with the others here. You'd be giving up too much. Try it with Newton and a lesser WR if you really want Rodgers.

I wouldn't go for that trade, the drop to Stevie isn't worth it, IMO. If you could get him to throw in Bowe or Demaryius I do think it would be a winner.
