trading for Lynch or McGahee, WHIR 100%

Postby saemick » Fri Oct 05, 2012 9:47 am

current roster is:

QB: Romo, Ponder
RB: Foster, Martin, Tate, Hillman
WR: Julio Jones, Antonio Brown, Torrey Smith, Hartline, Denarius Moore
TE: Witten, Hernandez

the guy who has Lynch & McGahee (also has McCoy & Mendy) is light on WR's. I'd rather target Lynch, but let me know which offer you like best for me/ what is most likely to get accepted:

  • I give: Torrey Smith/ Brown & Hartline
    I get: Lynch

  • I give: Torrey Smith/Brown & Moore
    I get: Lynch

  • I give: Torrey Smith/ Brown
    I get: McGahee

  • I give: Hartline & Moore
    I get: McGahee

thanks in advance

I would shoot for Torey Smith + Brown/Moore for Lynch.
I think that is a reasonable deal and looks acceptable on both sides. Now, you could make the argument that he expects an ELITE WR in exchange for Lynch, but really, the best I can ever hope to expect out of a trade is that both teams benefit, and I think that the above enables that.

There is a chance in my book.

I expect that the owner would insist on Denarious moore to be in on that rather than Brown (that would be my choice; but maybe not everyone else's)

Please see mine;

Personally i think Brown has more value than Moore, but really it all depends on what type of person you are dealing with. If he is the person that will overreact to the previous week then try and sell high on Hartline and Torrey Smith, or even see if hes interested in Witten after his big week. All of those seem like they benefit you but if hes good at RB and needs a WR he may accept any of them. GL!!!

So, you'd rank Denarius Moore above Antonio Brown actually? I was actually thinking that Torrey & Brown were basically my 2a/2b after Julio, no?

So, I took a closer look based on your question. I mistook Denarious Moore for Demaryius Thomas. lol.
So, having clarified that with myself... yeah, brown has an edge, although I am still not sold so high on him; with Mendenhall coming back I think that PIT will run a lot more effectively. I guess you could argue that will HELP Brown though too...

I would put Brown and Moore much closer together now that I have the right Moore in my head!!!

I would definitely offer the Smith/Brown for Lynch. I think that's a reasonable offer and would benefit both of your teams. Let us know what happens!

I would try sell high on hartline right now. Do Smith/Hartline for Lynch.

Offered Smith or Brown for Lynch. if he comes back saying he needs more; do you think that it makes more sense for me to trade away:

Smith or Brown
with
Hartline or Moore

Heck, I ALWAYS like a two for one where I'm getting the best player in a trade.

Honestly, let the guy you are trading with take his pick from your receivers. As long as he's not getting Julio Jones or the combination of Brown AND Smith, I think you are getting a steal of a trade. Lynch is just that good.
