Trade: Newton for Turner WHIR

I have a trade offered to me to trade Cam Newton for Turner. I would receieve Turner.
My starting QB is RG3 and my RB's are McCoy, Bradshaw, and Mathews.

Should I make the trade to add RB depth since Cam is sitting on my bench or should I try get a better player than Turner.

I have Cam and RG3 as well and have considered trading one of them, but then i remember that with their style of play either one can be injured on any given Sunday so keeping them both is a good way to protect yourself from that. You have 3 good RBs already so i dont see a need to make a move. If you were to make a move though i wouldnt do it for Turner, thats a horrible deal. For Cam i wouldnt give him up for anything less than a low end RB3 and to me Turner is nothing more than a decent Flex

Very good point. Having a good back up to a RG3/Cam QB style is important.

By the way, this is a 12 team league. My WR's are Steve Smith, D. Thomas, Burleson, James Jones, and Hixon

Thats actually a pretty important piece of information as in a 12 team league those QBs gain even more value in my opinion. There are bound to be at least 3-4 people that arent comfotable with their QB situation right now and would give you far more than Turner in return. In that deep of a league i would be trying to get a WR1 in return for him since you could use a WR more than you could use a RB. As i said before i probably wouldnt move him but if i did it would be for someone more in the Julio Jones range

I guess I was jumping the gun because I threw out an email asking if anyone would be intrested in Cam and the only offer I receieved was Turner (He also has Gore, DMC, and Morris)

I am thinking I should wait on Cam or maybe see if anyone is will to give up a WR1.

If anything I would try and do Cam for Morris, much better than Turner with tremendous upside. Either that or do something like Cam and Bradshaw for DMC and his backup QB

I would personally try to get a receiver for Cam. I wouldn't do the trade as you're pretty solid at RB.
