BLOCKBUSTER: Pull the Trigger? WHIR Always Leave Link

This is a .5 PPR LEAGUE, 12 team TOTAL POINTS League. I've had a rough start and am currently in 8th place.

The following trade has been proposed to me, do it or no? I'm leaning towards no.

I GIVE: Pierre Garcon and Ryan Matthews
I GET: Dwayne Bowe and Doug Martin

Here's my team:

QBs: Russell Wilson, Drew Brees (We start 2)
WR: Demaryius Thomas, Torrey Smith, Roddy White (We start 3)
RB: Ryan Matthews and Jamaal Charles
TE: Aaron Hernadez (Currently using Chandler)
W/R Pierre Garcon
W/T Rotate bench players:

Bench:
Ryan Williams
T.Y. Hilton
Tim Tebow
Andrew Hawkins
Kendall Hunter

I definitely wouldnt do that. I think Bowe's numbers are inflated by tons of garbage time scores and stats and that will eventually level out so his value is inflated right now. Matthews will be a top 5-7 RB when all is said and done and Garcon has the ability to be a solid WR2

If Garcon was already in your starting lineup. I'd say do this trade in a heartbeat, but you do already have 3 fairly solid WRs. But a 4th isn't a bad thing...

I think I would still pull the trigger on this trade actually. But it really doesn't solve a whole lot for you.

Your biggest problem is starting Russell Wilson every week. He has not been good for fantasy. There has got to be a better QB on FAs right now? Fitzpatrick? Dalton? Ponder? I'd even go with Hasselbeck or Bradford. Even Kolb is probably a better bet for fantasy, as I think this week was an blip on the radar for the Arizona Offensive line.

Edit: So yes, I see now that Garcon is in your starting lineup as your flex. So yes. I would do this trade for sure. Bowe is a clear upgrade and I don't think Martin is really a downgrade from Mathews very much if at all.

Garbage time is just as valuable in fantasy as game-on-the-line time, and you have to think that Bowe will get at least a little more of both as the season goes on. You can't just down play his stats because the score in the actual football game was a blowout. Stats are stats in fantasy.

Not downplaying them, just dont know if he will keep that up. Either way Matthews to Martin is too much of a downgrade to try and upgrade a position that you dont really need.

I would definitely do it. You give up your two riskiest players, injury risks. And, you get back consistency with more upside at wr and similar upside at rb.
