Trade Smith/Djax for TRich?

Hey guys this is my first post here and I'm looking for some trade advice!

16 Team ESPN Standard League
QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/WR/FLEX/TE/K/DEF/BN/BN/BN/BN
QB- RG3, Hasselbeck
WR- Smith (Car), Djax, Austin, Amendola, Hawkins
RB- AP, Forte, R. Williams
TE- Hernandez, Gresham
K- Zuerlein "Legatron"
DEF- Bengals

his Team:
Newton, Cassel/ TRICH, Murray, Bolden/ Moore, Cobb, Avery, Shorts/ Rudolph, Pettigrew/ Walsh/ Vikings,Patriots

Should I offer Smith & Djax/Austin for T.Richardson? I feel like this guy needs WR bad and he's 0-4. Only thing is I leave my self thin at WR. I'd have to pickup from Waivers where there is very slim pickings: Moore, Young, Ogletree, Randle, Robinson, Baldwin, Givens, Pettis, McCluster, Edwards, Tate, Walter, Hester, M.Floyd, Baldwin, Driver, Breaston... yikes. I'm #15 on waiver.

Anyways, thoughts on trade? Oh, I'm 2-2 & 2nd in my division, 2 games out of first.

1. I doubt if he accepts- he's thin at RB too (actually, he's thin everywhere).
2. You would be really hurting at WR.

Based on pure value, it's a pretty good deal. But it doesn't really help either of you. I'd say NO.

Offer him Ryan and DJax for his Trich that would give him an ok RB replacement and a solid WR to help his core out...at least its not gutting your own WR core. You can easily replace DJax with one of those ww WR especially Robinson or maybe a free Gattis stash and another add.

I would but on the Trading Block he is interested in my Steve Smith and Danny Amendola. Can't offer Amendola obviously. On October 3rd he listed his Need as WR and Available RB, TE. TRich is on the block, too. He is in my division though.

Would Steve Smith + R.Williams be okay?? I like Newton more than Vick but the Panthers do best when they run.

First off, welcome to the Cafe!

I would offer him the deal MadDog proposed earlier (R.Williams/DJax for T.Richardson and see if he goes for it. If not, then counter with Steve Smith and Ryan Williams, since you mentioned he was interested in Smith from the beginning.

For a 16-team league you have a nice roster. Is this a dynasty league?
