Hit the accept button for Rodgers?

Postby RexRules » Sat Oct 06, 2012 3:21 pm

10 team league. Start 2QB 3RB 3WR 1TE 1K 1DEF Standard scoring except all tds are 6 points, including passing. I know I would be taking a huge risk at WR, but the QB and RB combo this would give me looks pretty good. Getting to start Brady and Rodgers every week with passing tds being 6 points looks to good to pass up. Thoughts?
I get:
A Rodgers
Ryan Mathews
Santana Moss
I Give
Schaub
Julio Jones
Fred Jackson

Current Roster
QB-Brady,Schaub,Bradford
RB-Peterson, Charles, F Jackson, J Rodgers
WR-Julio, Miles Austin, Stevie Johnson, Britt, Simpson, Crabtree, Kerley
TE-Rudolph,Chandler
K-Tynes
DEF-MIN (play matchups with whoever is available.)

I would make the trade. Rodgers and Brady in a 2QB league makes this a championship caliber team. Also I like buying low on Mathews right now; he should put up top 10 numbers this season.

I'd do this trade too, like said above Brady + Rodgers is huge in 2qb league and Mathews is a stud,Norv is just playing games right now

Thanks for the help, I pulled the trigger. I really didn't want to give up Julio, but if Britt or Simpson can get it going I should be set. Or should I be looking to try trade maybe two of my WR for a top tier WR?

Hopefully this will help me get moving after my 1-3 start.
Team after Trade:
QB:Rodgers,Brady,Stafford
RB:Peterson,Charles,Mathews,J Rodgers
WR:Austin,Stevie Johnson,Britt,Simpson,Kerley,Kendal Wright,Crabtree
TE:Rudolph,Chandler
K:Tynes
DEF: MIN

I would take it in a heartbeat. Matthews is the clear RB for San Diego, despite his fumble. Rogers is a definite stud, just had to face a couple tough defenses and has plenty of targets. And with Spiller in the mix, Fred Jackson's potential is limited. The only person you're really losing is Jones.

Edit: Try trading a couple of WR for a top tier WR and you can pick up an extra on waiver
Team: Snappy Japs
QB: Aaron Rogers
RB: Ryan Matthews, Alfred Morris
WR: Jordy Nelson, Percy Harvin,Torrey Smith/Titus Young
TE: Rob Gronkowski
K: Greg Zuerlein
DST: Available for matchup
