So I am starting Matthews, Benson, Julio and Graham. And was then planning on starting Maclin and Hixon this week in my WR2 and FLEX positions.
Should I consider starting Kyle Rudolph ahead of either of these two receivers in my flex position?
Leave link so I can help!
10-team keeper league - QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, TE, FLEX, D/ST, K QB - Newton, Palmer RB - R. Matthews, Martin, Stewart, F. Jones, B. Brown WR - Julio, Austin, Maclin, Heyward-Bey, Amendola, D. Alexander TE - Graham D/ST - Bears K - Tynes
I'm still worried about Maclin, there are other targets in Philly so I don't see a ny reason to trust him, though I would still take Maclin over Rudolph in this case. Hixon should be a solid start with Nicks still out this week.
I would not start Rudolph over Hixon. However, given performance to date and matchups, I think I would start Rudolph over Maclin. That seems weird for me to say, as I would rarely ever recommend a TE over a legitmate WR, but this is one of those rare times. PHI has just been so inconsistent, and with the tough matchup, this might be another goose egg for Maclin, giving Rudolph more upside.
Rudolph is a great fill in for TE but I wouldn't want him at flex. 1 week he puts up 14 pts and then next it's 0; you just can't predict which one. I would roll with Hixon and Maclin expecting solid #s from both but not huge upside. If you get something in the range of 15-20 pts (std scoring) I would be happy with that.
Maclin and Hixon for sure. Jeremy Maclin hasn't been consistent so far but hes destined for a big game soon. Hixon will have a great game with Nics and Barden out.
