Too many options...who to pick up?

Too many options...who to pick up?

Postby wtr23 » Mon Oct 08, 2012 12:13 am

Looking for advice on which IDP to pick up. I have D'Qwell Jackson and JJ Watt (we start 1 defensive player a week in my league). Jackson was great for me last year, but he has hit a rough patch and left today's game with an injury. I'm thinking it's going to take a while (at least 2/3 weeks) for him to begin producing at his regular level again. Until then, I'm looking to pick up another player (or two, if you like any of these options over JJ Watt) Here's my choices:

. James Laurinaitis
. Sean Lee
. Chad Greenway
. Larry Foote
. Navorro Bowman
. Rey Maualuga (also an injury concern)
. Jerrell Freeman
. Brandon Boykin
. Jerod Mayo
. Daryl Washington
. Mason Foster

I could go on, but these guys are at the top of my list. Any suggestions appreciated.

I would go:

Laurinaitis
Greenway
Washington
Mayo

I really like Watt, he leads the other DE's in fantasy so far and doesn't look like he's gonna slow down any time soon

D'Qwell is probable for the game against Cincy so unless something changes, he should be a go. Greenway and Lee are always a good source for tackles. Foote is a guy I would grab as well. I don't know how many spots you are looking to fill but this is how I rank these five gents:

Laurinaitis, Washington, Lee, Greenway, Foote

Someone dropped London Fletcher as well, is he worth consideration or do I stay put?

What!?!?! Grab Fletcher quick. He'd jump to the front of the line for me.

Yeah, after a 20 point performance without a score, you'd think people would hold on to him. Not sure what that guy was thinking when he did that. Would you take Fletcher over Jackson going forward? It looks like he has the ability to score, but sometimes he disappoints. I'm really looking for consistency rather than an occasional big game, and both Jackson and Watt have delivered 10 pts or more when healthy.
