Ive been doing well without him so far but he really hasnt done much! So frustrating...i really expected him to a solid season and so far he hasnt had a solid game lol...jared cook is still a free agent but i gambled too much on gates and missed out on the other guys...should i try to trade him along with Flacco?

Depends what you'd be getting..... I'm not giving up on him just yet and with Meacham showing up finally they'll be a little less double-team on gates moving forward I think.
