Drop Pitta for Daniels?

Topic says it all. I'm inclined to hang on to Gates (for names' sake, I guess). Pitta was a backup while Gates is out, and has gone AWOL the last two weeks. I can pick up Daniels today, as he doesn't go on waivers until tonight.

Daniels has out produced both of my TE and has a good schedule going forward. Should I try to get him, and hope for a better bye week replacement? Of those three, which one (or two) would you like to have ROS?

No expert here but i would view daniels as a more consistent producer for sure.

pitta still 3rd in league in targets, id give him one more week as I am on my team.

Pitta in the first 3 weeks of the season was the top reciever for the Ravens with 18 catches. Since then, he has fallen to the #3-#4 option behind WR Smith and WR Boldin. Daniels in the first 3 weeks was tied with Andre Johnson with 13 catches and has steadily kept pace with Johnson as the #2 option behind Johnson.

Both TE's have a BYE in Week 8 so that shouldn't be a problem with Gates on his Bye in Week 7. Daniels has more chemistry with his QB and is a proven vet. I would have to lean towards Daniels as the 2nd TE to keep for the rest of the season alongside Gates. Drop Pitta.
