Trade Construction Help - WHIR

I'm off to an okay start in my league, but I'm really not where I think that I should be. I'm looking to shake up my team and potentially even give it a full overhaul if I can find some good trades. I'm essentially in a 2 QB league: 1 QB, 2 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE, Flex (QB/WR/RB/TE), K, DEF. Scoring is standard (1 point/10 yards rushing or receiving, 1 point/25 yards passing, 6 points/ receiving or rushing TD, 4 points/ passing TD). There's also bonuses for long plays (2 pts/40yd+ receiving or rushing play, 1pt/40yd+ passing play) and a 15 point bonus for 200 yards receiving or rushing/400 yards passing. Anyways, with that out of the way here is my current team:

Starters

- QB: Cam Newton
- WR: Eric Decker
- WR: Dwayne Bowe
- RB: Adrian Peterson
- RB: LeSean McCoy
- TE: Jason Witten
- Flex: Christian Ponder
- K: Stephen Gostowski
- DEF: Pittsburgh

Bench

- Greg Jennings
- Heath Miller
- Jake Locker
- Jets DEF
- DeAngelo Williams
- Mike Williams

I've gotten a few offers from someone in my league and I'm considering making an offer to someone else. I just want to run them by everyone before I go through with anything. Also, any suggestions would be welcome!

Offer 1: I give up: Cam Newton, Adrian Peterson and Eric Decker. I receive: Eli Manning, Jay Cutler, Julio Jones and Ryan Mathews. I'm not a huge fan of this trade, I'm giving up a lot and receiving one good player and a few marginal players at best.

Offer 2: This would be a counter to offer 1. I would still give up the same players (but swapping AP for McCoy), but instead of receiving Julio Jones I would receive Calvin Johnson. I don't mind this one so much as I'm still getting back arguably just as much talent as I'm giving. I do need huge help at WR especially with Jennings out.

Offer 3: I'll make an offer to someone in my league to hopefully get Brady. I'll give up likely McCoy/Peterson and Ponder/Locker (or if I make another trade I can replace the QB with someone else) in exchange for Brady and Alfred Morris. It seems like a longshot, but I think that I might be able to work the person into making a trade like this.

Here are my thoughts:

You need help at QB and WR mostly. Cam Newton has been maddeningly inconsistent, and isn't quite the top 5-8 QB that we all thought on draft day, at least so far. Ponder has a lot of upside, but I think his value is capped. It's too back Locker is injured. At WR, losing Jennings is a big blow to your team. Bowe is great, but Decker is merely #2/Flex territory. I love your RB situation, and if it were me, I would touch it! Peterson and McCoy are a great duo. Instead, I'd be looking to ship off the guys on your bench. See if anyone is willing to bite on Jennings for later in the year, or even DeAngelo Williams if they are really hurting at RB. Heck, even Heath Miller or Jason Witten are expendable.

Maybe a package of: Jennings/D-Will/Miller for a more elite WR. Or maybe Ponder/Jennings/Miller for an elite QB. I see your expendable players as lower tier RB and TE. You need to find someone hurting at those positions. Otherwise, I'd stay put and ride the Cam Newton wave.

honestly I like the first deal for you.

Though cam has a bit more value since he gets rushing TD's, Eli is a pretty solid QB, Jones is an elite WR, and Matthews is gonna be carrying the load for the chargers unless he gets injured. Cutler is a bad starting QB but can be a decent spot starter depending on matchups.

I'd take offer 1. You're upgrading at qb and wr while maybe getting a slight downgrade at rb.

Like one poster mentioned you are weak at QB and WR. The first offer I would counter, leave the RB's out of the equation, and offer Cam/Decker for Manning/Jones.
