Trade 1st Round Pick 2014 and Josh Gordan for Alshon Jeffery and 4th Round Pick 2014

Roster-Must have 2QB,4RB,4WR,2TE,2K,DEF and 1 Rookie player in every position excpet K and DEF and are allowed 1 extra player on roster.

QB-Cam Newton,Tim Tebow,Russell Wilson
RB-Jamal Charles,Steven Ridley,Chris Johnson,Bial Powell,Michael Bush
WR-AJ Green,Demaryus Thomas,Dez Bryant,Brandon Lafel,Josh Gordan
TE-Scott Chandler,Fred Davis,Colby Fleener
K-Blair Walsh,Garett Hartley
DET-Texans,Ravens

Thoughts? I know my glaring weakness is QB and RB but there is no gurantee that I will even have an opertunity to draft a player in that position while I could possibly fill out my WR's also I plan to draft a qb or RB if there is one avalible in the upcoming draft for me depending on how my team ends up.

Just a disclaimer ive never been in a dynasty league.
I wouldnt do it. I do like Alshon Jeffrey. But hes low on the pecking order in chicago and wouldnt be worth giving up a 1st rounder. Id go 2nd rounder and make the deal. Jay Cutler is just a risky guy to have throwing to your guy

The one thing about this trade is the 1st rd pick you are giving up in 2 years for a 4th rd pick in same year. Granted, a lot can happen between now and then but both players are young and have talent but on offenses that have been inconsistant this season to date. I like Jeffery myself, but Gordon shows promise and is on a team that is young and has nothing to lose performance-wise. Those players tend to stand out more, in my opinion.

If you could get a lower rd pick (possibly a 2nd) I would consider the trade. But it really boils down to what value you place on both recievers and if you can draft better value in 2013's draft to upgrade the areas on your roster that need it the most. :-?
