Use #1 Waiver position on Greg Jennings?!!?

Postby TheGhost » Tue Oct 09, 2012 9:56 am

So I play in a 10 team, PPR league, yahoo. I could use another receiver as I'm currently starting Justin Blackmon or Domenik Hixon.

However, there are a couple first year owners in my league and I want to be in position when they drop someone they shouldn't... or to be in position to pick up a backup after a starter goes down for the season. I'm in first place and clicking along just fine that's why I'm inclined to keep my waiver position. But Jennings could be a huge pickup for me if he gets healthy. Thoughts?

My roster:
QB: Matt Ryan
RB: Ray Rice
RB: Trent Richardson
WR: Dwayne Bowe
WR: Stevie Johnson
WR: Domenik Hixon
WR/RB: Doug Martin
TE: Rob Gronkqwski
K: Jason Hanson
Def: Seattle
Bench: Rashad Jennings, David Wilson, Denarius Moore, Steelers D, Brandon Boldin, Justin Blackmon, Bilal Powell

Thank you!!!

Is this a money league or a free league. I am leaning towards a free league if greg jennings is on the waiver wire. It doesnt matter that you have the #1 spot. There is no decision here lol. You pick up Jennings off of waivers yes. There is no question or debating this. It would be a huge mistake not to.

It's actually a $40 dollar league. The guy who dropped him was league champion last year and am pretty confused as to why he was dropped. But since moves like this are being made, I'm wondering who else might be dropped in the near future. Plus there are some rookie owners playing which always increases the chances of good players being dropped. Just want to make sure that Jennings' injury isn't more serious or of the lingering variety. At 29/30 years old are his skills in decline. Just want some feedback on that type of stuff. Thank you... WHIR!! ;-D

i think that once Jennings is healthy he will be a must start...Rodgers seems to be getting his stuff together and with that awful defense they will need to pass, pass and pass!
