Free bench spot- what to do with it? WHIR

Postby Habslive » Tue Oct 09, 2012 4:11 pm

Dropped Ryan Williams today obviously. So here's my squad. 12 team PPR. I'm 2-3, but 2nd in points in my league.

QB: Roethlisberger, Ponder
RB: Foster, Charles, Spiller, Tate, Jacquizz
WR: Green, Colston, Rice
TE: Cook, Gresham
DEF: Seahawks
K: Zuerlein

So I have a free roster spot- three options right now.

1. Grab Jahvid Best and stash him on my bench/see how it plays out... but I really am pretty solid at RB. That said- no such thing as excessive RB depth
2. Grab a WR like Kerley or Hunter for a spot start in Colston's place while New Orleans takes its bye week. As it stands now I'm starting Sidney Rice this week.
3. Grab a second D/ST since the Seahawks are facing the Pats. But they have held Green Bay and Carolina to 12 points each, and Dallas to 7. They're definitely one of the better D's in the league and I might just start them and roll with whatever punches Tom Brady delivers to my team's gut.

Thoughts?

I'd grab Best gives you the best long term dividends possibly.
