So first off, I'm in a 12 team H2H ESPN standard scoring league (not PPR). My team is as follows:
QB: Stafford
RB: Forte
RB: Ridley
WR: Cruz
WR: Brown
Flex: Denarious Moore
TE: Gates
D: Rams
K: Henery
BE: Christian Ponder
BE: Andre Roberts
BE: Ben Tate
BE: Peyton Hillis
BE: Nate Washington
BE: Jahvid Best
BE: James Starks
The trade I've been offered essentially boils down to trading Antonio Brown for Stephen Jackson. Normally, there's no way I'd make this deal, as I like Brown a lot more than Jackson. However, I'm really shallow on decent RB's considering Tate and Hillis haven't produced at all this year. Also, I'm pretty deep on WR, and I consider myself having 4 or 5 "startable" WR's, at least in a 12 team league (Cruz/Brown/Moore/Washington/Roberts). Matt Forte is on a bye this week, and Ridley gets a toughl Seattle defense @ Seattle, so I really have no decent options at RB this week. I'm actually first in my league thanks to some really lucky matchups, so I can't win a waiver wire claim on a RB to save my life.
I know Brown is more valuable than Sjax, but in my situation, should I make the trade? Or is it better to hope for a big game from someone else and accept this week as a long shot victory at best? We've discussed variations of this trade, so pick an option and let me know what you think.
1) Trade Brown for Sjax
2) If possible, trade Brown + a bench RB for Sjax + Jeremy Kerley
3) If possible, trade Brown + a bench RB for Sjax + Stevie Johnson
4) Don't make the trade at all.
Post your link and I'll give my thoughts as well! Thanks!
