Ballard or Powell? WHIR

Postby FlaXB9R » Wed Oct 10, 2012 9:13 pm

Standard league no ppr

Had R. Williams as a back up RB and since he went down I need to replace him. Powell should have the start locked because they don't really have any other options but the O line is terrible. Ballard seems to have the start too but who knows and how productive can he be?

Thanks leave a link and I WHIR

Powell's grip on the starting job is a lot less secure than you seem to suggest. La'Rod Stephens-Howling looks to get worked in the Arizona backfield atleast to some degree as well. If Powell falters it will end up an uglier time share than the Ryan Williams - Beanie Wells situation. I'm getting queasy just thinking about it.

Ballard has a stronger hold on the starting job but Donald Brown is only out for 2-3 weeks.

If you need one of these RBs to contribute in your lineup within the next 3 weeks I'd add Ballard. If this is an end of the bench stash I'd grab Powell and hope he can win the job and be the primary back.

I have a trade in the works for A. Morris. I'm really in need this week. I have Forte and MJD on by now stuck with only Bradshaw. The guy with Morris says he's for sure but hasn't excepted the proposal yet. I'm worried if he procrastinate's too long I won't have Morris for this weekend. We changed the votefrom 2 days to 3 now due to suspicious collusion last year and wanted to make sure everyone had time to vote. 3 days has its pros and cons though. For me its a con right now. So I'm really wanting someone to produce this weekend and should be good from there on out considering I'll have Morris also.

Thanks

I agree with LMack here. If you need a RB for the next couple of weeks. I would no doubt go with Ballard. Ballard runs hard and will see ALOT of action.
Powell will split carries. Ryan Williams had a hard time running the ball it will be even harder for Powell on a three RB comity.
