AP for Morris plus... WHIR

I am in a 14 team H2H keeper league. Start 3 wr and 2 rb. Keep 4 without draft penalties.

I get: Morris 1st and 5th round picks next year, 3rd following year
I give: AP 6th and 7th next year, 14th following year

I am 2-3 and in the playoffs at the moment, but realistically have little chance of competing this year.

Is this good value for AP?


QB - Shaub, Pounder
RB - AP, Ridley, Spiller, M Bush, DWIll, Hunter
WR - Wallace, Jennings, S Johnson, Cobb
TE - Daniels
K - Crosby
DEF - Seahawks

This is a much more complex league than mine. But Morris is having a good year and AP is doing just Ok. You get a first rounder next year, and don't think I will compete this year? Do it. Sounds reasonable.

AP is just doing OK?? Last i checked he has 500 total yards in 5 weeks with 13 receptions which is more than just OK. Morris has about the same amount of yards, 11 less receptions and 2 more touchdowns so depending on your scoring(PPR or not) they are fairly even to this point. That being said the TDs will come with AP without a doubt as the season goes on and the receptions wont increase much with Morris so overall AP should have the better year.

I think AP has more keeper value for next year but Morris has more long term keeper value. You would offset that negative keeper value for next year by adding an addition rd 1 pick which is huge, and then in year 3 you would be doing great with Morris and an extra 3rd rounder

who are you planning to keep?

I am not sure who I would be keeping at this point given some of the uncertainty around guys like Jennings and Spiller. I think I would begin to over pay for some keeper upgrades.

Something like Spiller/Johnson for AJ Green.

At this point though it would be (with Morris): Morris, Wallace, Jennings, Ridley/Spiller
