I don't think so. Daniels has been solid this year but Gronk is a must start pretty much every week. I don't think his injury will be an issue and I think Hernandez will need one more week before he becomes a real factor in the Pats offense again.
Hernandez coming back will help Gronk, not hurt him. Gronk has had to stay in and block on 20% of pass plays this year, compared to 10% last year. Hernandez can take some of those blocking responsibilities off of Gronk.
I think you have to play Gronk no matter what. I agree that Hernandez helps not hurts. If Hernandez plays and stretches the field, that is great news for Gronk (bad news for Welker).
