Flex Question! (and TE)

Postby Sailor19 » Sat Oct 13, 2012 2:40 am

I've got a question regarding who to play in my flex. My lineup is below. I'm thinking Welker, as he would be the obvious choice usually, though I'm wondering with the Pats going with a running heavy game last week if I should start both Wes and Gronk. The other option would be Reggie Wayne, who is coming off a huge game last week and playing against a mediocre Jets team. There is also McGahee, but I don't think he is gonna make the same impact as these other two.

Also, TE, I know that starting Gronk is almost always a must, but with his low point performance last week, him being kind of injured and the possibility of Hernandez coming back, as well as Rudolph playing against the second worse team defensively against TEs, and his recent play, is it worth starting Rudolph over Gronk?

Thanks! (any other suggestions would also be helpful)

QB - Peyton Manning @SD
RB - LeSean McCoy vs DET
RB - Reggie Bush vs STL
WR - Larry Fitzgerald vs BUF
WR - Demaryius Thomas @SD
TE - Rob Gronkowski @SEA
R/W - ???

BENCH
QB - Drew Brees BYE
RB - Maurice Jones-Drew BYE
RB - Willis McGahee @SD
WR - Marques Colston BYE
WR - Wes Welker @SEA
WR - Reggie Wayne @NYJ
TE - Kyle Rudolph @WAS

I would play R. Wayne cause Luck looks his way early and often .

Welker would be a good play if Hernadez is still out. SEA Def is a beast though.

As for the TE , I don't thik you can go wrong with playing Kyle Rudolph against one of the worst pass defenses in the league .
