Picked up Hernandez from free agency earlier this week, since he looks to be back. Needed a backup for Graham's bye this week anyway, plus i figured that if he's back, it's crazy that he's lying out there in FA.
I'm pretty puzzled now though, since he's listed as questionable and didn't practice friday. There's not anyone on my team i wanna drop to pick up a third TE in case he doesn't play.
So i'm thinking i have two options:
1. Drop Hernandez (and break my heart) now, to pick up Celek who plays 1pm. 2. Hold on to Hernandez, see if he's active just before 4.05pm. If he is i play him; if not i drop him to pickup Fred Davis, who plays 4.25pm
While option 1 is the least risky, it is risky in the fact that Hernandez might play, have a huge game, and i won't have him - probably to trade him.
Problem with option 2 is that even if he's active; how will he play? Do you think Belichick would start a not-fully-recovered Hernandez?
Hope you can help - WHIR!!
8-man PPR league
QBs: Brady RBs: Foster, Charles, D. Martin, Murray WRs: J. Nelson, Fitzgerald, Bowe, Nicks, T.Y. Hilton, M. Williams TEs: Graham, Hernandez K: S. Graham DEF: Texans
Thanks, that's what im thinking too. But if he turns up to be inactive, i have to drop him i guess => would be stupid to play without a TE right!?
And your link isn't working man

"Again, we finished among the league leaders in offense this past year" - Jason Garrett 2/13/13 SMFH
Definitely hold on to Hernandez then drop him for Davis if he doesn't play..and by the looks of your roster, you either play in like a 6 team league or your competition is seriously lacking
12 Team PPR BIG $ LEAGUE QB - Matt Ryan (J. Freeman) RB - Arian Foster, Reggie Bush (Ballard, Starks, Bell) WR - Julio Jones, Brandon Marshall (Nicks, Britt) Flex - Eric Decker TE - Jared Cook, (G. Olsen) D/ST - MIA K - S. Graham
This limited if playing sucks.. But should i still stick to starting him if he plays?
