D. Murray/F. Jones waiver question

Postby goodwidp » Mon Oct 15, 2012 4:21 pm

Waiver wire question for this upcoming week that I would love some input on:

I have DeMarco Murray on one of my teams and it looks like he may be out for a few weeks with ligament damage in his ankle, though he's currently "Doubtful" for next week. I have the #1 waiver priority and I try to hold onto it until absolutely necessary. My other RBs are McFadden, Spiller, LeShoure, and Best (hoping he gets cleared). Should I spend my my #1 waiver claim on Felix Jones or just roll with Spiller or LeShoure as RB2 until Murray returns? Keep in mind that we only start 2 RBs in this league (Flex is WR/TE).

As always, any help is sincerely appreciated. Thanks very much.

I would hold out. I think that even if Felix plays, he will not be effective. After all, he's lost his starting spot before. Your RBs are good as is, I would play LeShoure over Felix anyway.

Help?

Not big on Felix. Had a good day yesterday but wouldn't count on it to continue.

Thanks for the replies. It looks like Best isn't coming back this year, so now I have a whole new issue to deal with. Yay Fantasy Football!

I'd hold off as well Felix has had durability issues and more suited to change of pace role, I think the back to own if Murray misses time will be Tanner or possibly even Dunbar but way too early to speculate on which

Long term I would say Tanner but since its only a game I will bet Felix.
