Please help me choose between this crappy WR/TE flex options:
Chaz Shilens @NE Cecil Shorts @OAK Mohamed Massaquoi @IND Dwayne Allen vs. CLE
I picked up Shilens figuring him to be the starter after Holmes went down, but Hill looks to be healthy now. Shorts is supposedly going to be a starter now for Jacksonville. He has the most big play potential but lack of targets hurts him in PPR. Massaquoi has been injured, and some other WRs have been picking it up in CLE. Feel like he's not a good option at all. Allen is probably the biggest red zone threat of anyone, and Indy's offense is really coming along.
I'm leaning towards Shorts right now just because I feel like there's upside. What do you guys think?
That's a tough lineup. I don't think Allen is any more likely to catch a TD than any other Colts receiver(Wayne, Avery, Fleener, etc). I go with Shorts.
I think Shorts is your best option. He seems to have good chemistry with Gabbert, he's explosive, and is supposed to start this week. You might as well take a chance on him, as he's as good as or better than any other of your choices...
12 team, H2H, Standard Scoring (Starters in bold) QB: P. Manning, Luck WR: Julio Jones, Welker, Alexander, Hilton, Shorts RB: Rice, Wilson, BJGE, LeShoure TE: Daniels K: Tynes DEF: DET, SD
I'd go with Shorts, he's had a couple good games this season and I agree he has the most upside. My second choice would be Allen, Joe Haden has the potential to shut down Reggie Wayne so Luck will have to spread the ball around.
12-team PPR QB: Matthew Stafford, Colin Kaepernick RB: Ray Rice, Trent Richardson, Doug Martin, BenJarvus Green-Ellis WR: Brandon Marshall, Marques Colston, Hakeem Nicks, Percy Harvin TE: Aaron Hernandez, Brandon Myers K: Lawrence Tynes
