6 per TD, 1 per 25 yards pass, 1 per 10 rushing, -2 per turnover
Cam Newton v. DAL Christian Ponder v. ARI
DAL is the NFL's number 1 passing defense although QBs have averaged 14.1 ppg against them. They also have a midling rushing defense but nothing special and Cam may do well against them. Cam is also coming off a bye week.
Ponder faces ARI which is a solid passing defense and also a midling rushing defense. But, Kolb is out and their defense has been struggling the past few weeks while MIN has been surging on offense and has a strong defense.
Both are at home, Ponder's indoor.
Ponder has thrown for 200 yards+ in most games and 2 TDs in most games except when they blew out DET early and against the jags. Even vs. SF's passing defense had 198 yards plus 3 tds (2 passing).
Cam has had solid yardage in most games but SEA but has only had two games with more than one TD (NO and ATL). Of top 10 defenses, Cam did well vs. ATL (215 yards plus 3 tds (2 passing)) but not so well against SEA (141 yards no tds).
10-team keeper league - QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, TE, FLEX, D/ST, K QB - Newton, Palmer RB - R. Matthews, Martin, Stewart, F. Jones, B. Brown WR - Julio, Austin, Maclin, Heyward-Bey, Amendola, D. Alexander TE - Graham D/ST - Bears K - Tynes
yes Dallas has better corners this year but they still fail at getting pressure on the qb except for the obligatory 1 sack per game from Ware, I would go Cam
