Two trades ideas. *Detailed* WHIR

So this is a different league than my normal one. im in it with my brother. We are trying to engineer a trade now that the bears are done their bye week and houston has some injuries on defense we want to sell high on houston.

This is a 10 team, standard scoring league. start 1 QB, 2RB, 2WRs, 1TE, 1 Flex (WR/RB), 1 Kicker, 1 DEF

My Line up:
QB: Peyton Manning, Palmer (had to drop vick because manning and peyton are on the same bye. going to try and pick vick back up next week but its moot)
RB: Foster, Bradshaw, Sproles, Mendenhall
WR: Roddy White, Colston, Andre Johnson
TE: Vernon Davis, Heath Miller, Hernandez
K: Justin Tucker
DEF: Chicago, Houston.

Trade 1
This first trade is with a team we are playing this week so it is time sensitive and may have short term pain for long term gain.

This guy has been offering us deals and we've been countering and its time to up the ante.
We give: Bradshaw, Colston, Miller ---> We Get: LeSean McCoy and Victor Cruz (McCoy's bye week is this week so we are effectively putting a live RB into his starting roster)

His lineup:
QB: Newton, Locker
RB: Charles, McCoy, Ridley, Forte, Martin
WR: Cruz, Decker, Steve Smith, Little
TE: Finley
K: Gostkowski
DEF: Lions

Trade 2

We give: Bradshaw, Andre Johnson, Houston DEF ---> We Get: Lynch, Calvin Johnson
His Lineup:
QB: Stafford, Rivers
RB: Lynch, Reggie Bush, Donald Brown, Fred Jackson, Beanie Wells, DeAngelo Williams
WR: Calvin Johnson, Brandon Marshall, Steve Johnson
TE: Gronk
K: Bailey
DEF: Jets


Do both trades make sense? Which one is better for us? What do you think?

Trade 1 would be better for you I think. I like McCoy, and especially like Cruz. That guy does have DET for D/ST though, maybe you could exchange a piece of your offer for one of your D/STs? Your original trade would be fine all in all.

Thanks for the help. I'd go with Trade #2. Calvin Johnson is on pace to get a ton of yards this year and I would expect the TDs to start coming more in the 2nd half. Giving up the DEF isn't a big deal since you have the Bears. Plus, Cushing is out for the year so that might affect them badly. I think Lynch will be a top 10 back at the end of the year and I don't trust Bradshaw to hold up. His foot that kept him out 4 games last year is giving him problems this week.

Thanks for your help! I'd go with trade #1. McCoy is going to start getting a few more touches and Cruz is the focal point of Manning's attention. I'm not sold Nicks is going to come back & stay healthy.
