Would you trade Drew Brees to get AJ Green?

6 pts per TD catch
2 WR slots per week.
We have a FLEX spot where i can put an additional WR.

In our league AJ Green has 118.5 pts and Drew Brees has 116 pts.

My team currently is 2-4.

My WRs currently are:
Roddy White
Demaryius Thomas
Malcolm Floyd
Torrey Smith
Mike Williams (TB)

I also own Joe Flacco who could slot into my QB slot.

Would you trade Drew Brees away to get AJ Green?

Also, he is willing to swap RBs including McGahee from my team, Bush from his, etc. He is also interested in Torrey Smith from me.

If you're going to do it, I would include the mcgahee and bush part. Points are even for Brees and Green, but you know Brees is going to give you 4500+ yds, ~35 TD's, etc. I love AJ Green, but White and Smith are pretty solid. If you decide to trade Brees, keep Smith. Flacco/Smith will reap a lot of benefits. Personally, I don't think you can win a league without an elite QB (or it makes it much more difficult)

I feel like I need to do something, as my team is 2-4.

I'd stay put. I think you're more balanced with the WR talent you already have plus a great QB. Flacco is a big step down from Brees.

If you can get Bush for McGahee without doing the Brees part of the deal, I would do that.

I would probably do that deal, but I doubt he would, since I think he's looking for upgrades in other areas.

The step down from Brees to Flacco is greater than the step up from Green to Smith. I think you're losing more with this trade than you're gaining. Just sit tight.
