Standard Yahoo scoring, non-ppr
I've been offered this trade: I would be trading Roddy White and Jimmy Graham for Calvin Johnson and Doug Martin.
My team:
QB: Matt Ryan/Big Ben
RB: McCoy
RB: Gore
WR: Roddy White
WR: Wes Welker
TE: Jimmy Graham/Owen Daniels
Flex: Fred Jax
BE: Pierre Garcon
BE: Brandon Bolden
BE: Domenick Hixon
What do you think? Is Calvin going to start putting up monster games again? Has Doug Martin turned the corner? I'm leaning towards taking it.

I think this is an even and very fun trade. I think Roddy vs. Calvin the rest of the way is a coin flip so that's a fun "challenge" trade - my guy for yours and we'll see who's got better numbers at the end of the year. Then you've got one of the top rookie RBs (who knows how Martin will hold up for the long season?) and an elite level TE in the mix.
To me the best way to figure out if this makes your team better would be to look at the bye weeks. If you do this now you get Calvin for Week 7 while White doesn't play, so that's cool. In general I think you can get away with trading Graham since you've got another good TE but you'll be stuck with a WW fill-in there for Week 8. Martin would give you a nice Week 15 playoff matchup against the Saints and has a good matchup (I think?) at Oakland in Week 9 when you'll be without Gore.
I say go for it. Fun trade. Good luck!

If you have Matt Ryan, I would rather have Roddy White and I like Graham more than Martin. You have 2 solid RB's and a good backup with Fred. I would say nay

Thanks for the Post.
I would stay pat. Not sure I like Martin.
